ArtsWest Musical Theater Education Program
The nationally recognized ArtsWest Education program is now in it’s 10th year. Designed for students ages 8 – 21 in three distinctive programs, the program gives students of all levels a chance to discover, build and hone their skills in acting, dance, and vocal music. In the past the program has attracted students from New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Jersey, Ohio and Idaho as well as all over the Seattle area. ArtsWest is dedicated to having professional teaching artists from the Seattle area to direct, choreograph, and musically direct shows such as Footloose, Into The Woods, A Chorus Line, Hair, Cabaret, Annie jr., A Year With Frog and Toad, Seussical, Cinderella, The Birds, Dark of the Moon, Cabaret and The Rocky Horror Show, as well as teach classes in theater basics, social studies and history. This is an all-inclusive program where students learn about the world, and times we live in, via the artform of musical theater.
