Cell phones disrupt the performance and are distracting to actors and those around you.  We request that you please turn them off – hard stop.  Audio and video recording and photography are prohibited.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

We ask that all food be consumed prior to heading into the theatre to avoid any noise that may disrupt the performance. Beverages may be taken inside the theatre.

Smoking is not allowed in our building or within 25 feet of any entrance.

FIREARMS POLICY

No firearms of any kind are allowed in any part of the building.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES

Wheelchair-accessible ticketing is available. Please inquire with the Box Office at the time of your ticket purchase.

ArtsWest is equipped with assisted listening devices, available by request at the Box Office.

ArtsWest can accommodate service animals with previous notice so that the best seating option can be found to provide room for the animal.  Emotional Support Animals require an ESA letter.

ARTSWEST INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

ArtsWest will automatically cancel a performance if any of the following occurs:

  • Metro bus service / Link Light Rail is discontinued
  • The City of Seattle declares a State of Emergency
  • A local power outage cuts power to the building

In the event of a cancellation, ArtsWest will announce the cancellation four hours before the scheduled curtain time:

  • At 3:30pm for all Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening performances
  • At 11:00am for all Sunday matinee performances

ArtsWest will make attempts to contact patrons via contact information provided in the event of cancellation. Announcements will also be made on our website (artswest.org) and over social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
Additionally, if you feel unsafe traveling to ArtsWest for any reason, you may pursue any of the following alternatives to attendance:

  • Exchange for a different performance (the same play on a different night)
  • Exchange for a different production (apply the price of your ticket toward a future play)
  • Refund for tickets purchased to that evening’s performance

ArtsWest will work with patrons to determine a solution within 48 hours of a cancellation, weather permitting.
If you have any questions, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@artswest.org and allow 48 hours for staff to respond.
