ArtsWest seeks artists of ALL AGES to exhibit their artwork in the C-shaped gallery that is also the lobby of the theater. It is the mission at ArtsWest to produce artistic events that provoke conversation, incite the imagination and use live theater as a powerful agent of change.

Our goal is to marry what is on stage and what is in the gallery to allow our community to experience the themes, ideas, and cultural identities through 2 mediums: visual art & performance. This is not to say that the visual art should draw direct parallels to the theatrical productions, but inherently compliments it through the programming of the gallery.

SEASON 2024 – 2025 : THE FAMILY OF THINGS:
“Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting– over and over announcing your place in the family of things.” – Mary Oliver, Wild Geese
Mary Oliver is beloved as one of the great poets of the natural world. Throughout her life, she gave us messages in bottles about how we might find our place here, asking questions like “Who am I?” and “Where do I belong?” Finding answers to these questions can seem like an impossible quest, but in Wild Geese, Mary Oliver gives us a place to start: “You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.“
This season is about some humans, the softest animals, striving to let themselves and each other love, which, as Mary shows us, is the only path to belonging. Through it all,

We are able to accommodate all wall-mounted visual art & small space for ceramics and sculpture.

No video installations.
