Before vampires, there was the garden. Ancient, beautiful, and alive with desire, the garden held at its center a single untouchable rose. It was not hidden, but it was never meant to be taken. When the first human reached for it, the rose drew blood – and from that wound the first vampire was born.

On the night of the blood moon, the vampires return to the garden for an ancient rite – a gathering meant to restore balance. But this year, something has changed. The garden has begun to stir. Its desires are no longer quiet.
