Intro to Musical Theatre (9th -12th Grade)

Mondays 4:30-6:30pm  9th – 12th Grade

Cost: $230

Spend time working on voice technique, dramatic interpretation and choreography that remain the basis of all Musical Theatre productions. Once techniques are developed through exercises, group activities and one on one coaching, the class will put together a full production number from a major musical with full choreography, harmonies and dramatic shifts.

 

Christopher DiStefano:

Chris has worked as a teaching artist in musical theatre for the past 10 years, most recently with the The 5th Ave. Theatre Rising Star Project. He also conducts private voice lessons with students ranging in age from 8-80. He has served as the Musical Director for Title of Show and Avenue Q at Balagan Theatre, Grey Gardens with ACT and currently serving as the Musical Director for James and the Giant Peach at the Seattle Children’s Theatre.
