Where is ArtsWest?
ArtsWest is located in the heart of the West Seattle Junction at 4711 California Ave SW, Seattle, Washington, 98116.

What are ArtsWest’s hours of operation?
Our Gallery and Box Office are currently closed – “Stay home, stay healthy.”
The ArtsWest Gallery and Box Office is open:
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 2:00 – 7:30 PM
Plus one hour prior to all scheduled performances.

Where can I park?
FREE parking for three hours of time is available in adjacent lots behind ArtsWest.  These lots are owned by an independent parking company and they are patrolled for parking violators.  If you are planning on being at ArtsWest or in the California junction for greater than three hours, we recommend that you park on the street or pay attention to not exceed your time.  We are all too familiar with those tickets they give you if you are parked longer than three hours!
There is also street parking – 2 hours maximum until 6pm, but no limit after 6pm, on several streets within walking distance from the theatre.  Watch for signs that require permits.  Our suggestion, just drive a street further West, closer to the water.

Are the shows at ArtsWest appropriate for children?
Generally speaking and unless otherwise noted, our shows are not appropriate for children under the age of 14.  We will not turn you away if you bring a child over the age of 5 years, but most of our shows contain mature material.  We do list notes such as strong language, any nudity or scantily-clad cast members, and mature themes as guides for you to make informed decisions.
Our Policy: Age appropriateness is the responsibility of the ticket buyer, but in no case shall children under 5 be admitted unless specifically excepted. Children must be able to sit in their own seat and stay for the entire program. No “babes in arms;” each person must have a separate ticket.

How can I audition for plays at ArtsWest?
We will post our audition notices on the Theatre Puget Sound website and also on our own website.

How do you select artists for the Gallery?
Visual artists interested in showing their work at ArtsWest are encouraged to submit samples of their work, as well as an artist statement and resume, during our annual call for artists. Our call for art is usually in the late spring and early summer months. Check here to see if we are currently accepting submissions. The gallery calendar is set a year in advance.

Does ArtsWest accept scripts?
ArtsWest accepts only scripts submitted by agents and other literary theatrical professionals. We do not accept unsolicited scripts.
