Tune up your skills and prepare for auditions for the summer with the new ArtsWest Spring Break Mini-Conservatory!
Monday March 29 – Thursday April 1, 2010.
Join professional artists for four days of intensive monologue, scene and music training to prepare for auditions for this summer’s Theater Conservatory production of The Birds by Aristophanes.

Wednesday, March 31: ArtsWest's world premiere production of SUNLIGHT by Sharr White, includes private post-performance talk-back with the artists (includes one additional ticket per student for a parent or guardian)
NO MORE THAN 20 STUDENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Each student will need to bring in 2 monologues (1 comedic 1 dramatic) and 2 songs (1 up tempo and 1 ballad) to work on with teachers. In addition to monologue training and vocal work, students will also take physical comedy class, and explore the tradition of Greek comedy, as well as sketch comedy and Vaudeville principals.
